Description | Bren Simon, whose surprise selection as Joe Andrew's running mate in the Democratic race for governor stunned politicians in August, has surprised them again by getting out.
The news even surprised Andrew, who learned of her decision from The Indianapolis Star.
Simon, a Carmel businesswoman and the wife of multimillionaire mall magnate and Indiana Pacers co-owner Mel Simon, told The Star in an exclusive interview Tuesday that she was pulling out as Andrew's choice for lieutenant governor. |
