| Description | Keystone Politics has confirmed that veteran State Representative Jennifer Mann (D-132) is gearing up campaign apparatus and gathering endorsements in preparation to launch a campaign to run for Pennsylvania Treasurer. This move might shake some life into an otherwise sleepy statewide campaign.
Incumbent Treasurer Robin Wiessmann had agreed to not seek election prior to being appointed in April 2007. The vacancy was created by Bob Casey’s resignation to become a US Senator.
Joining Rep. Mann in the race for the Democratic nomination is John Cordisco, a lawyer and former state lawmaker from Bucks County and Rob McCord, a Montgomery County venture capitalist. |
