| Description | Here’s the dilemma for congressional candidates like Chris Hackett who want substantial reform of Congress’ bacon production factory.
Except for government watchdog groups and a handful of congressmen, just about everybody likes pork-barrelling — called earmarking in Washington but “bringing home the bacon” here.
Most other congressmen like it because it demonstrates their power and helps them get re-elected.
