DescriptionJust days after La Center Republican Rep. Richard Curtis was forced to resign, another GOP legislator from Southwest Washington finds himself in trouble.

Vancouver Rep. Jim Dunn has been stripped of his committee assignments by House Minority Leader Richard DeBolt, R-Chehalis, after having made an inappropriate remark to a woman after an October committee meeting in the Tri-Cities.

"I opened my mouth inappropriately and apologized for it," Dunn told the Columbian. He said his comment to the woman was along the lines of "I bought you a drink because I want to take you home."
