| Description | Former Memphis congressman Harold Ford Jr. -- once on the list of Washington's top bachelors -- appears headed to the altar next spring.
New York Post celebrity columnist Cindy Adams reported Monday that Ford telephoned her from Paris to report that he proposed on Friday to Emily Threlkeld, 26, after a three-year relationship.
Ford's top political advisor, Michael Powell, confirmed the engagement late Monday night. |
