| Description | "State Sen. Shirley Kitchen collapsed last night during a rally to open Mayor Street's North Philadelphia campaign office and was hospitalized.
Kitchen arrived late for the event, rushing up two flights of steps and into the warm room where a crowd was cheering Street. She was handed a microphone and twice tried to speak, only to hand it back as she struggled to catch her breath.
Concerned supporters fanned her with Street's re-election posters and hurried to bring her a chair as her knees buckled."
