Description | 'State Sen. Joseph Suliga announced today that he will not seek re-election to the State Senate in order to seek treatment for an alcohol addiction.
"After being evaluated by the High Focus Center, I have decided to enter an intensive alcohol treatment program," Suliga said in a statement released late this afternoon.
Suliga's withdrawal comes after he was charged with harassment and creating a disturbance at an Atlantic City casino early last Saturday. Published reports have also reported an harassment incident involving an 18-year-old woman in Point Pleasant and that he was drunk on the Senate floor during a vote on the state budget.'
