Description | With only a week before the Dallas mayoral election, former construction company executive Tom Leppert continues to outpace his rivals in the critical money game.
But Dallas City Council member Ed Oakley's campaign has generated almost as much cash as Mr. Leppert.
Mr. Leppert raised $224,461 for the latest reporting period, spending $645,516.
In comparison, Mr. Oakley raised $218,517 for the period, though he spent $227,463, considerably less than Mr. Leppert.
According to the latest campaign finance disclosure reports submitted Friday to City Secretary Deborah Watkins, Mr. Oakley has $350,849 left in reserve, while Mr. Leppert has $53,813. |
