Description Top Morris County Republicans have lashed out at Sussex County Freeholder Steve Oroho, saying he was wrong to "disparage" Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th Dist.) for endorsing Assemblyman Guy Gregg (R-Morris) for a Senate seat also sought by Oroho.

Morris GOP Chairman John Sette and Morris County Freeholder Director Margaret Nordstrom said Oroho "went too far" in criticizing Frelinghuysen after he and Rep. Scott Garrett (R-5th Dist.) both endorsed Gregg this week.

After failing to get their endorsements, Oroho issued a statement on the "liberal record" of Frelinghuysen, questioning his votes on abortion, gun control and same-sex marriage issues.
