Description | NAPLES -- Katherine Harris went on the defensive Monday night, trying to disassociate herself from a campaign supporter who is accused of asking a racially charged question at a public forum days earlier.
Even though a candidates' forum before the Collier County Republican Executive Committee had technically already ended, Harris went back into the meeting room to deny her campaign had anything to do with a woman named Jackie Brownhill, who on Friday accused Harris' opponent Will McBride of changing his name from Rodriguez. |
