Description | This is a summary of the above discussion.
At a recent party event, the chairman of the Nevada state affiliate (it operates under the name of the Independent American Party there) said that he favors allowing abortions in the cases of rape, incest, and life of the mother.
The official stand of the party is that the Cst Party is 100% against abortion.
The national committee contacted the Nevada IAP and complained about it. The state committee stood by its chairman.
In recent weeks, many state affiliates have murmured against the failure of the national party to disaffiliate with NV. So far six states, including NY, have left the national party in protest. |
