Description | Some 40 prominent representatives of the Religious Zionist movement are expected to arrive at Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s office to declare their support for Kadima.
The senior figures, among them former Shin Bet official Menachem Landau, are continuously gathering supporters from within the movement.
Former Ele Sinai settlement secretary Hagai Levy, who is also among those joining Kadima, told Ynet “Joining Kadima, a party whose leaders were responsible for the uprooting of my family from Ele Sinai, is very difficult for me. I am joining Kadima because we have reached a decisive time regarding the defining of the State of Israel’s permanent borders, if not those of the Land of Israel. |
