NM Senate pro tem suggests Texas redistricting tactics

| Description | (Albuquerque-AP) -- State Senate President Pro Tem Richard Romero has asked his fellow Democratic lawmakers to seriously consider congressional redistricting.
He made his request in a letter that was sent out last week.
Romero says revamping New Mexico’s congressional districts would be good for Democrats. Republicans currently hold two of New Mexico’s three seats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
