Description | The Kadima party won 36% of the vote in a closely watched mock election held Monday at Blich High School, in Ramat Gan. The results of the mock elections, which the high school has held ahead of all recent votes, are traditionally seen as predicting the outcome of the national elections.
The Labor Party attained 18% of the votes, Likud garnered 12%, Meretz 8.9%, National Union-National Religious Party 7.4%, Greens 6.6%, Shas 5.3%, Shinui 4.2%.
The mock election has correctly predicted election upheavals in 1997 and 1992, but failed to do so in 1996. |
