Description | BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Gubernatorial candidate Jay Blossman will use the case of the south Louisiana serial killer in his campaign ads to show state government's priorities are wrong, he said.
Blossman, chairman of the Public Service Commission and one of four major Republicans in the race, announced Tuesday that his campaign will start a new television ad blaming the deaths of five women on state officials who did not fund a program to analyze the DNA of some criminals.
The "Conspiracy of Silence" ad begins running Wednesday in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette, Blossman said. It may start running in the northern part of the state next week. |
