Description | WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - A trial lawyer who said he wants to fight poverty and improve education and childhood health announced that he is a candidate for the 1st Congressional District seat occupied by Rep. Jim Nussle, a Republican who is running for governor.
"I'm running for Congress to change the direction of this country and be a strong voice for people who aren't being heard in Washington these days," he said. |
