Description | ST. PAUL - The Independence Party lost its U.S. Senate candidate Wednesday when former party chairman Jack Uldrich ended his campaign.
Uldrich announced his decision in a letter to supporters in which he said his family and professional obligations would have made a full-time campaign difficult.
"To date, I haven't been able to summon up the energy that a U.S. Senate campaign requires and the sobering realization that I would have not only needed to find - but then sustain - that energy for the next 15 months was a real wake-up call for me," he wrote. |
