Description | SPRINGFIELD, Ill. Some top Illinois Republicans are hoping Jim Edgar comes out of retirement to run against Governor Rod Blagojevich (bluh-GOY'-uh-vitch).
Edgar's name surfaces every time Republicans need someone to run for a major office. The former governor usually considers the idea and soon says no.
But Edgar says he's considering it more seriously this time.
He says both party leaders and ordinary voters have asked him to run again |
