Description | "She's back.
On behalf of "all citizens and taxpayers of Camden County" and the merchants of the former Pennsauken Mart, Alene Ammond - known as "the Terror of Trenton" while a state senator in the 1970s - has filed a 12-page federal fraud complaint against 31 officials and individuals, including the county's freeholders and the Camden County Improvement Authority.
Ammond says the individuals destroyed the mart's businesses, cost taxpayers millions of dollars, and "deliberately falsified fiscal projections for a proposed hockey arena." Questions have dogged Camden County's proposed $65 million project at Routes 130."
