| Description | The South Carolina House Judiciary Committee passed a bill that would make cockfighting a felony.
After this bill was passed, the committee tabled a bill that would make second offense Criminal Domestic Violence a felony.
In an interview with WIS-TV news, State Rep. John Graham Altman (R-Charleston) suggested that supporters of the CDV bill were stupid and implied that the woman should not have put herself in the position to be assaulted after the first offense. |
