The do-nothing state representative from Apopka was named chairman of the House Finance and Tax Committee late last year as a political reward for backing Allan Bense's winning bid to be speaker. And true to form, Mr. Brummer has continued to do what he does best: scuttle the good ideas and hard work of others without apology or explanation.
