DescriptionMayor George Spadoro will not release a list of his legal clients as Jun Choi, his opponent in the Democratic primary, challenged him to do.

"A list of clients is confidential. It would be inappropriate for me to release names of private clients," Spadoro said.

Choi issued the challenge when he announced his candidacy Tuesday. Along with the challenge, Choi provided his financial disclosure statement, 2004 tax return and statement that he was "beginning this campaign by setting a higher standard for public officials."

Initially, Spadoro declined to comment on Choi's challenge. "If he has a specific request, he could have dropped me a note," Spadoro said, avoiding Choi's name as he has done in every public statement about the campaign.
