| Description | "Rookie Washington Township Councilman Stephen Altamuro on Thursday was sworn into a state Assembly seat he hopes to keep in November.
Altamuro, a Republican, replaces George Geist, a longtime 4th District assemblyman who moved up to the state Senate last week.
Altamuro and his running mate - Franklin Township Committeeman Patrick Dougherty - will face Democratic Assemblyman Robert J. Smith and former Gloucester Township Councilman David R. Mayer in this fall's general election." |
