Description | Port of Seattle Commissioner Paige Miller said yesterday that she is running for the City Council, challenging incumbent Richard Conlin.
Miller is the third person in the past several days to announce plans to run for Conlin's council seat. Other City Council members have announced their intentions to seek re-election, but no challengers have stepped forward yet for any of those positions yet.
Miller, a port commissioner since 1988, said she is challenging Conlin "because Seattleites need a decisive leader on transportation issues with a track record of success." |
