Description | Zell Miller is a senator no more, yet the people who scheduled his meetings, answered his mail, wrote his press releases and responded to his constituents keep working as if he'd never left.
So much for the housecleaning that typically comes when a Republican takes over a Senate seat left by a Democrat. New Sen. Johnny Isakson has kept almost a third of Miller's staff - including many in senior roles.
"If it's not broken, why fix it?" Isakson explains. |
