| Description | JOHANNESBURG (AFP) - The only surviving son of former South African president and anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela has died after spending the past weeks in a critical condition in a Johannesburg hospital.
Makgatho Mandela, 54, had been in intensive care for the past weeks, but no details were released about his condition.
The Mandela family have scheduled a news conference. |
