Description | HALIFAX (CP) - Green party candidate Martin Willison admits he's a long shot to win the Nova Scotia riding of Halifax West, but says his election bid is part of a long-term plan that looks well beyond the June 28 vote.
"I think the Green party is the only party that thinks about 20, 30, 40 years ahead," he said Monday after campaigning with Green party Leader Jim Harris, who is on a two-day swing though Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
"Whether or not we win isn't the issue for many people on the doorstep. It's simply that we have a Green party to speak up for the environment." |
