| Description | The Green Party leader Trevor Sargent has said the party is confident that it will perform well in the next month's European elections, despite a recent opinion poll that claimed it is in danger of losing both of its European seats.
He made the comments at the publishing of the party's election manifesto.
Green Party candidates are contesting the elections in the Dublin, East and South constituencies.
159 Green candidates are also seeking local authority seats throughout the country.
