Description | Moving to the general election and the new horserace numbers, the survey says former Gov. Tony Knowles still leads, with 47.6 percent of the vote, Lisa Murkowski just under three points behind at 44.7 percent, and Green Party candidate Jim Sykes with a little over 2 percent, with 4 percent undecided. The number of undecided voters has dropped.
Lisa Murkowski's rating is more interesting. The first three polls were troubling, with her positive rating kind of stagnant, and -- more worryingly -- her negative growing from 35 percent to 37 percent, then 39 percent. But she went on the radio just days after that third poll, and since then, her positive has jumped up 10 percent in the last two months, and has pushed that negative rating back down. |
