If you say something that the government or the establishment doesn't approve of and you make enough noise, they'll come after you. Not just politicians, but any activists who speak outside the box, if you rock the boat with your allegedly unacceptable opinion, you'll be targeted and find yourself under investigation.

You spout direct Russian propaganda talking points Conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. And you spam message after message after I asked you not to. Try to compile into a single message.

LSjustbloggin: I was shocked that my favorite podcaster Tim Pool was revealed to have been covertly funded by Russian nationals, but he had no idea and he's completely innocent,

Yep. Proof that you're all in on Russian trolling. I'm not throwing the words in your mouth, you're spouting them yourself.

By proof, you mean mere accusation.

Just 6 companies own 90% of the American media, that's why I can't trust the corporate media.

FWIW I think Harris won the debate and was better prepared for the debate tactics. It was unfair that ABC News corrected Trump but not Harris, but I don't think it impacted the outcome of the debate. The eating dogs rabbit hole by Trump really lost it for him imho. Harris's side by side reaction underlined the absurdity of this - even if you believe this disinformation its not dogs it cats and ducks that are being eaten by Haitian immigrants.

Weird that Trump never looked at Harris.

Harris walking to Trump to shake his hand at the beginning also caught him off-guard and was an alpha woman move.

I don't think we will have another Presidential debate.

Still, I really don't think this changes anything. Everyone knows who they are voting for already - its just about who is going to turn out for this election.

This is a 50 / 50 race and we will all still be wondering on November 6 who won because Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania will probably still be counting votes and will determine the outcome.

And yet you still choose to be a Right-Wing Capitalist which leads to monopolies like this in EVERY INDUSTRY

I truly believe that this race will come down just 5,000 votes.

That seems impossible to know in advance.

The debate was where I was not confident at all in Harris and she seems to have put in the work, to her credit.

I generally agree with Brent. As far as fact checking goes, it is less necessary when a candidate is telling the truth. Kamala talked about what is happening in our reality, which needs little fact checking. Trump lies more than any other presidential candidate in history - others may have misspoken on occasion but nothing like the sheer volume of Trump's lied - which makes it harder to accept when he tells the truth.

this probably applies to almost everything and not just political debates but being on the defense is worse than being on the offense

would it be fair and accurate to say that last night, Trump was on the defense more than his campaign would have wanted and that he's better while on offense than while on defense?

They did fact check both and came up with 1 falsehood from Harris and 33 from Trump.

I just got done watching the debate and I do agree, Harris blew Trump out of the water. My personal favorite was:

"Putin would eat you for lunch"

I'm talking about during the debate. I don't recall David Muir interrupting Harris. I'm not surprised by that breakdown though.

LSjustbloggin: This debate can only be summed in one word, chaos.

Seemed pretty tame by recent debate standards.

Shame on the Presidential Debate Commission for having this rule that makes it impossible for third party candidates to be on the debate stage. Shame on the courts for upholding that rule.

The Commission on Presidential Debates didn't even sponsor the debates this year.

They were sponsored by the news stations they were on.
