DescriptionVirgin Islands
United States of America

The Virgin Islands are islands between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, east of Puerto Rico. They are an organized, unincorporated territory of the US with policy relations between the Virgin Islands and the US under the jurisdiction of the Office of Insular Affairs of the US Department of the Interior. The Virgin Islands are governed by an elected Governor and a unicameral Senate. They elect one non-voting representative to the US House of Representatives

With its capital in Charlotte Amalie, the Virgin Islands are comprised of three major islands: Saint Croix, Saint John and Saint Thomas. Before being handed over to the United States, the territory was administered by the Kingdom of Denmark. Registration is Partisan.
