The primary mission of the Cape May County Sheriff's Office is to be an effective
part of the civil and criminal law enforcement efforts of the State of New Jersey. The
Sheriff's Office principle responsibility is to ensure the security of the Courts, the
Correctional Center, and the welfare and safety of the community, the staff & inmates.
