In the Lower House, 300 Representatives are elected in 300 separate Prefectures. The additional 180 Representatives are elected on a proportional basis from eleven Block Constituencies, each containing multiple Prefectures.
Kitakanto contains the following Eastern Honshu Prefectures: Gumma, Ibaraki, Saitama, and Tochigi.
