Parliament of the Republic of Zimbabwe
Legislation in Zimbabwe is the jurisdiction of its unicameral parliamentary body, the House of Assembly. The House of Assembly is comprised of 150 seated members. 120 members are elected by popular vote for five-year terms. 12 members are nominated by the President and 10 are occupied by traditional chiefs chosen by their peers. 8 are occupied by provincial governors appointed by the President.
