State House District established for the 1876 election and sitting for the session beginning November 1, 1876 at the opening of the 1st session of the Colorado General Assembly.
Article V, Sec. 49 of the original Constitution of the State of Colorado set aside 7 Representatives for Arapahoe County.
This district lasted through the 19th General Assembly and was disbanded after the House term completed on January 6, 1915 when the City and County of Denver was established. The remaining parts of Arapahoe County were apportioned in the Arapahoe and Elbert House District.
