Description |
The Prime Minister (officially called the "President of the Government") is appointed by the King of Morocco upon presentation by majority vote in Parliament. Actual executive power is held by the King of Morocco, who has the discretion to dismiss the Prime Minister at any time.
The Prime Minister selects his Council of Ministers (or 'cabinet') upon approval by the King. The Prime Minister's Council presently (as of 1-16-2020) consists of 18 Ministers and five Minister Delegates.
