172-seat lower house of the bicameral Congress of Columbia. Members are elected from territorial electoral constituencies by proportional representation and serve for four years. In addition, four special constituencies elect one member from the indigenous community, two from the Afro-Columbian community, one from the Raizal (Afro-Caribbean) community and one from Columbians living abroad.
