Brenda Frazier is Chair of Council's Human Services Committee which is responsible for 60% of the county budget. She is Vice Chair of the Administrative Services Committee and also serves on the following committees: Budget & Finance, Economic Development, Assessments, Appointment Review and Row Office Review. She was also appointed to the Professional Services Review Committee.
During her tenure as District 13 Representative, Councilwoman Frazier has attended numerous community meetings, forums and events in order to share and gain information from community members. She is also a member of the Democratic State Committee, representing the 38th district.
Councilwoman Frazier is a former Pittsburgh Public School teacher. She holds a Master Equivalent Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and Carlow College. She has a history of active community and political involvement at the local, state and national levels. Councilwoman Frazier also has an extensive background in the area of financial services and real estate.
Mrs. Frazier is married and resides in Stanton Heights with her husband Andrew. She is the mother of three children and six grandchildren.
