Info | Rep. Joseph Clay Crum, a Democrat, represents Maries and Osage counties, and parts of Gasconade County (District 112) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Elected to his first two-year term in 1994, Rep. Crum serves on the following House committees: Agri-Business; Elections; Appropriations -- General Adminstration and Transporation; Elections; Fees and Salaries; Local Government and Related Matters.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Crum is a part-time salesman at Beck Motors in Freeburg. He has also worked in beef production, manufacturing, owned and operated small businesses and recently served his 20th year as Maries County Clerk.
Rep. Crum is a Deacon and song leader at the Little Flock Baptist Church. He is board chairman of the Revolving Loan Fund, founding president of the Gasconade Valley Enterprise Zone, a member of the newly formed "Missouri Democrats for Life Caucus," and treasurer of the Save The Rock Island Committee (STRICT) organization.
Rep. Crum is a 1962 graduate of Maries County R-1 High School.
Born February 7, 1944, in Vienna, Missouri, Rep. Crum currently resides there with his wife, Mary Jane. They are the parents of seven children: Jeffrey Tellman, Mary Jean Smith, Mark Crum, Gregory Tellman, Kevin Tellman (deceased), Stacey Slayton, and Catherine Crum.
