Info | Alan Tyley is standing for the seat of Araluen. He lives in Alice Springs with his family and co-manages Keringke Arts at Santa Teresa with his wife Judy. Alan has a vision for Alice Springs as the Solar City of Australia. He believes that the Central Australian region is superbly placed to be a leader in this type of renewable energy. Alan thinks Alice Springs is a “great multicultural place to live and raise kids.” He finds the scaremongering tactics of the two older parties on the so called issue of ‘law and order’ disturbing and disappointing. He has had lots of experience working with Community based organisations in the area of youth at risk and says that “a Community Based Policing approach would be much more effective”.
