InfoEric Bedingfield represents the Southern portions of the County. The Mauldin, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn areas along with the rural areas down to Laurens and Anderson Counties. He was elected to serve the citizens of District 28 in November 2002.

He is a long-time resident of Greenville County, having graduated from Carolina High School in 1985, and Greenville Tech in 1988 with an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Eric served in the United States Marine Corp. Reserve from 1985 until 1993. He is a local businessman here in Greenville, working in commercial sales.

Eric and his wife, Sabrina, have four children and are very active in their church and community. He is a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church where he has served as Sunday School Teacher and as Chairman of the Youth Council.

Eric is very involved in a number of civic organizations, but is most proud of his Marine Corp. League detachment, the Owens/Kennemore Detachment located here in Greenville.

Councilor Bedingfield serves as Chairman on the Public Service, Planning and Development Committee
