| Info | He is currently coordinating an environmental audit of the Langara College campus and sits on the Grant Review Board for the MEC Environment fund. Born in San Jose California, Charlie was raised in northern Quebec where he learned French and graduated college with a Pure and Applied Science Diploma. He has a strong interest in social and environmental issues and has volunteered for many organizations, such as: Greenpeace, the Langara Sustainable Society and the Spartacus Books Collective. After participating as a US Delegate at the IV international convention on sustainable development (Havana, Cuba 2003), his focus turned to renewable energy. Recently he has helped co-found the Vancouver Renewable Energy Co-op, where he now volunteers as a director.
