| Info | Andy Montroll has been a member of the Burlington City Council since 1994. He recently served four years as President of the Council, chaired a host of council committees, and served on the city’s finance board.
Andy has provided strong and steady leadership during his twelve years on the Council. From bringing neighborhood quality of life issues to the forefront of the Council’s agenda, to advancing the community discussion on public safety, to inspiring a sister city relationship with the hurricane ravaged community of Moss Point, Miss., Andy has built a solid record of accomplishment on issues important to the residents of Burlington.
As Mayor, Andy will use his extensive experience in City Hall to meet the challenges facing Burlington today and move us towards a thriving and dynamic future.
Andy graduated summa cum laude from Vermont Law School and is a practicing attorney in Burlington. He lives on South Union Street with his wife, Barbara Anne, and their two young children, Sarah and Elliott.
