Tom is a lifelong resident of Atlantic County. Raised in Longport along with his seven brothers and sisters, he is a product of Margate public schools, a graduate of Atlantic City High School and the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned degrees in Biology and Physical Anthropology.
Growing up along the Jersey Shore, Tom surfed, swam, and fished along its beaches and marshes. These skills enabled him to become a member of the U.S. National Lifeguard Team, representing our country in international competitions. Tom is committed to protecting the natural resources which are such an integral part of Atlantic County.
Tom has been employed and volunteered numerous hours in area public schools. He sees an urgent need for higher teacher salaries, smaller classroom sizes, and state aid to match increasing student populations.
Tom currently works in the family real estate business along with his father and brothers. He is also a private swim coach. He and his wife Amy reside in Egg Harbor Township.
