Rep. Craig Hosmer, a Democrat, represents a portion of Greene County (District 138) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hosmer is an attorney.

Some of Rep. Hosmer's major legislative achievements include: stalking legislation, the Springfield vehicle forfeiture bill for multiple DWI offenders, Medicaid fraud legislation, zero tolerance/DWI legislation, and juvenile crime reform.

Rep. Hosmer has been honored as legislator of the year by the Missouri Police Chiefs' Association, the Deputy Sheriffs= Association, Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He also received the Vickie Ann Harpell Award for work on behalf of victims of domestic violence.

A 1977 graduate of Marshfield High School, Rep. Hosmer received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1982 and a Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1986.
