| Info | Also known as Kenichi Azuma, Chen Kenichi was a Japanese chef and restauranteur of Chinese Szechuan cuisine. Best known as the Iron Chef Chinese and for being the son of Chen Kenmin, the father of Szechuan cooking in Japan, he operated the Shisen Hanten restaurant group across Japan and the Singapore branch ran by son Kentaro earned two Michelin stars in 2016. He passed away of interstitial lung disease in 2023.
