| Info | Griffin graduated from Carmel High School and has worked as a firefighter for the Carmel Fire Department for the past two decades; the last six years as the department’s public information officer.
"As a firefighter I swore an oath to protect the citizens of Carmel and I want to extend that servant leadership to the county,” Griffin says. "Working as a county councilor is a different type of protection, but one that still allows me to give back to my community."
Road safety improvements, especially along 146th Street where he has responded to a number of fatal accidents, and a public safety training center for Hamilton County public safety agencies are both projects Griffin is fully invested in.
“Our low tax rate is also critical to me,” Griffin adds. “I’m steadfast in making sure Hamilton County residents have the resources and quality of life they want and deserve, all while keeping taxes low and ensuring Hamilton County maintains its AAA Bond Rating.”
Tim and his wife Teresa have five daughters. In addition to his professional roles, Tim is an executive Board Member for the Carmel Professional Firefighters Local 4444, Board President for Promote Carmel Inc, Hero Olympics participant, former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish Council, and is the Master of Ceremonies for all Carmel Fire Department events.
