| Info | Ray James Alba Party candidate Mid-Dunbartonshire I am English, a so called ‘English Scot’ who has lived in the constituency 45 years.
I believe passionately in Scots determining their own future and also protecting the equal rights and safeguards of Scots women, girls, children and our LGB community.
Scotland’s independence is a civic choice and not as Westminster and the UK owned media prefer us to view it as only subject to political Party popularity and divide us on that basis. We English are great strategists!
Vote Alba even if you support Labour, Conservative or Liberal Democrat policies but want that same choice in an independent Scotland. Come independence in 2026, these Parties will only be concentrating on what’s good for Scotland. These Parties are completely unprepared for Scotland determining its own future in 2026 at the next Scottish election!
Vote Alba if you support self determination and are frustrated asking yet again for permission to hold a referendum which we already know will be refused.
Vote Alba to make sure that in 2026 and every election that follows, independence is on both the manifesto AND the ballot paper, an Electoral Commission requirement for each election to be a legal plebiscite for independence election
