The SDP stands for a refreshed politics. Family. Community. Nation.
We are all part of multi-layered communities. Consequently, we believe in strengthening family, community and nation – the places where we work together for the common good. We exercise rights but we also have responsibilities and our programme reflects this across a broad range of policies.
We are proud to call ourselves social democrats. Greater individual responsibility, trust and social solidarity will, we believe, make Britain a happier and more productive nation.
I bring a commitment to seeing the flourishing of communities and individuals - from decades working as community project manager, teacher and pastor - and now seek to serve my neighbours, in Luton, as your MP.
