As the Chief Business Systems Officer at a manufacturer in Green Bay, she not only oversaw 600 employees in 12 locations around the world, but learned the importance of opening doors to opportunity and prosperity for everyone. As well as prioritizing collective well-being over personal gain.
Her call to public service came the moment the Supreme Court scuttled 50 years of women’s rights with the overturning of Roe v. Wade. It was then she knew she could put her leadership abilities to work to retire Wisconsin’s restrictive 174-year old anti-abortion statute. As well as make a difference for citizens in the areas of education, child care, health care and the environment.
She transformed the Brown County Democratic Party when she was elected chair in June 2022, re-energizing the membership and restoring its financial foundation – including paying off the party headquarters building!
A long-time Wisconsin resident, this proud mother of two is ready to roll-up her sleeves to guide community members to achieve common goals, as well as lead the way to the first Democratic majority in the Wisconsin Legislature in 50 years.
